Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th Junethe Tattoo Nerd Fest returns to the Parma Fairs, the first major event in Italy to combine the world of body art with nerd culture.
200 accredited exhibitors, a large program of concerts, DJ sets, events and experiences, and many exceptional guests to welcome 15 thousand visitors of all ages to the fair.
The big names present
Among the “Ambassadors & Guests” of this edition, we will host some authentic stars of the tattoo world in Parma, including Michela Bottin, Clod the Ripper, Francesca Zigrino, Lorenprod and Vale Lovette. The nerd section also includes many famous guests, such as the stand-up comedian Valerio Airò (Comedy Central, Zelig, Il Milanese Imbruttito), the opinion leader Spartaco Albertarelli, the streamer Matt Aster and three great cosplay icons: Antonio Gava, Aoy Queen and Daisy.
The “nerd” soul: a paradise for collectors, gamers and cosplayers
The “Nerd” section guarantees a very wide range of collectible cards, comics, gadgets, games and video games, accompanied by rare or unique pieces, authentic gems for those who aim to enrich collections or discover new worlds. Not just collecting: the big news for 2024 is Heavy Fantasy, a container of composite activities and experiences, ranging from board and board games (with over 60 dedicated tables), medieval fencing lessons, e-sports, a nostalgic area dedicated to retrogaming with the iconic “bar” cabinets and thematic sections inspired by classics of animation and fantasy cinema.
Musical events
The Mai Dire Goku, the largest traveling party of TV and cartoon theme songs from the 2000s, will make the audience of the Parma Tattoo Nerd Fest dance. The performances of Michele Luppi (Whitesnake, Mr. BIG, ex-Vision Divine), Elvenking are also highly anticipated. (returning from their last US tour and a summer exclusive in Italy), Draconicon, Spork, as well as the video concert by web star Domenico Bini and the Tempo Rock DJ set. The festival will close with a concert by Wind Rose, an international power metal band, in what will be the only Italian summer date of their world tour.
