LIVORNO – Ends with 79-60 against Argenta basketball the season of U19 Gold of Legnano who nevertheless experienced an extraordinary season, with a difficult start but with a truly incredible rise.
The race saw Legnano ahead in the first quarter and down 2 at half time, even if the second half was in favor of Argenta, second place for Emilia Romagnawhich in turn he had to give up in Frascati in the final for access to the national finals.
Coach Cuturello: “It was an intense and hard-fought match. We alternated excellent defenses which completely removed the references to the opponent’s attack and allowed us to recover many balls, to score continuously and establish the rhythm of the match, ending the first half with the lead.
In the second half we paid for a bit of distraction on the rebound and some problems with personal fouls took away a bit of rhythm from our legs, forcing us to chase and waste energy which we then didn’t find again towards the end of the match. The final result perhaps doesn’t reflect what was really seen on the pitch. We certainly gave everything, we must praise the boys who showed great heart and determination throughout the match and I am proud of this!”
