Redevelopment works of the Salaria Vecchia in Borgo Quinzio. Cuneo: “The first meeting with citizens on Thursday”

The project for the reconstruction and redevelopment of the stretch of Salaria Vecchia which crosses the hamlet of Borgo Quinzio, in the municipality of Fara in Sabina, has been completed. Intervention, requested for years by citizens, aims to resolve long-standing problems affecting the local community. The procedures for the feasibility study carried out by the designer began at the beginning of the year, after numerous meetings with technicians and other competent authorities, it was arrived at a more detailed definition for future work. The project involves a substantial intervention which, in addition to resurfacing the road surface, will guarantee the redevelopment of the area.

The president of the Province of Rieti, Roberta Cuneo, declared: “We are happy to be able to share this project with the citizens. It is a significant step to improve the quality of life of the residents of Borgo Quinzio. We are aware of the difficulties that this path has caused over the years and we are pleased to finally be able to implement effective solutions to resolve these problems. The goal is to start work by the end of the year, with a well-structured plan shared with the community to ensure that each phase of the project meets everyone’s needs and expectations.”

The first meeting will be held on Thursday with residents whose homes are near the works area to discuss the project and collect feedback. Further meetings open to all citizens will follow to present the project in detail, share implementation times and discuss any critical issues
