Sicily Fashion Week and Sicilian fashion becomes international – BlogSicilia

The Sicily Fashion Week, organized by Confartigianato Imprese Sicilia, will start on June 12th in Palermo for its first edition and will end on June 16th after a series of training events and meetings.

The event enhances Sicilian fashion craftsmanship in all its facets, highlighting the creative excellence of the region also thanks to the collaboration with ICE.

Thanks to a system of integrated and personalized services, Confartigianato Sicilia presents itself to businesses as a partner to be born, compete and grow in a constantly evolving market.

All the companies selected by Confartigianato to participate in this project will have the opportunity to meet international buyers and stakeholders in the sector, in order to encourage new collaborations and growth opportunities for their business and products.

The brands participating in Sicily Fashion Week

The brands selected from hundreds of requests will be twenty and will be exclusively Sicilian companies in the fashion sector. Below are the first official brands:

  • Aqva&Co:
    A high jewelry brand born from the idea of ​​Antonio Di Carlo and Roberta Guardì. The design of AQVA&Co jewelery represents a happy combination of Gold, Silver and Precious Stones.
  • Baroccoro by Stornello Marinella:
    Jewels that weave Sicilian wealth into gold filigrees, transforming passion and tradition into milestones of elegance and innovation.
  • Byssus:
    The mass and tailor-made production of clothing for all genders is the perfect result of the union between innovation and experience.
  • Daniel:
    The idea behind the project is to tell Sicily through high quality bags and jewellery.
  • Fancs V:
    A proactive and progress-oriented vision that is already evident in the creative process, from the design to the 3D creation of the jewels.
  • Flavia Pinello:
    Sartorial art of the Fontana Sisters, the Modart Atelier is born where uniqueness and personality are celebrated and every bride will be able to find the dress of her dreams.
  • GB Goldsmiths:
    Craftsmanship is at the heart of their work, with a special focus on handcrafting and repairs.
  • Kostumari:
    The costumes handmade by local seamstresses tell of the sun, the enveloping colors, and Sicilian craftsmanship.
  • Narrè:
    Fashion sector, reworking must-have, gender-neutral garments and accessories, with the aim of creating an essential wardrobe. Few elements between clothing and accessories, transversal in use, functional in substance, industrial in style.
  • Syrtaria the Art of Sewing:
    Garments with simple lines which, through the art of sewing taken from our tradition, express harmony and bring us back to the elegance of the good life.
  • Tinarena:
    The brand creates tailor-made suits of any type and model, high fashion, bride, groom, ceremony, eighteenths, for men, women and children.
  • Vali Boutique:
    Valentina’s creativity, sown from a young age, found fertile ground on a trip to Bali which revealed new perspectives.
