As part of the strengthening of local prevention and control services in the Apuan province,
as provided in the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security chaired by Prefect Guido Aprea, the inter-force services organized by the Police Commissioner Santi Allegra continue to combat illegal incidents connected to the Movida both in the city center and in the coastal areas.
Attention over the last weekend was specifically focused on the municipal territories of Massa e
Montignoso, where an intense control activity was carried out on public establishments, in order to guarantee peaceful evening and night-time entertainment.
The joint service was carried out by personnel of the police squad, of the Administrative Police Team of the Police Headquarters, of patrols of the Carabinieri and of the Municipal Police of Massa and Montignoso, and affected the historic center of Massa, in the area between Via Cavour, Piazza Aranci and Piazza del Mercato, and the area of the municipality of Montignoso.
During the operation there were i86 people identified, of which 10 were subject to police prejudice,
checked 14 vehicles and subjected to inspection various commercial activities, including a minimarket in the center of Massa, a bar and a pizzeria bar in Montignoso.
Various administrative charges were filed against the latter two premises, in particular, one for failure to display the alcohol test table and the absence of breath test precursors,
noise pollution and failure to display operating hours, while to the other, due to failure
display of the alcohol table, imposing administrative sanctions for the total sum of
2800 Euros.
As the summer season approaches and the increase in tourists, the incessant activity of the
Police headquarters for the prevention of widespread petty crime phenomena and forms of illegality connected to
malamovida, and control of food and drink administration activities and of patrons in places of greatest youth aggregation, in order to raise the safety framework of entertainment activities throughout the province
