Officers found more than 8 ounces of marijuana: a 54-year-old arrested in Udine.
On the morning of May 30th, the men of the Local Police of the Carnia mountain community, supported by the canine unit of the Local Police of Udine, took A 54-year-old Italian citizen is under arrest in Udine for the crime of possession of a narcotic substance for the purpose of trafficking.
In implementation of a house search decree issued by the Udine Prosecutor’s Office as part of an investigation for the repression of drug dealing, which started from a municipality in Carnia, local police officers and agents found, in the home of the arrested person , over 850 grams of dried marijuana.
The substance, of a large quantity, had been divided by type into numerous glass containersequipped with an airtight seal and equipped with labels that reported the different botanical variety. Inside a refrigerator, a and a half hundred grams of powdered substance, probably obtained from the processing of the inflorescences.
In addition to the marijuana, thanks to the help of “Galant”, a German shepherd, belonging to the Local Police of Udine, a modest quantity of hashish in crystallized resin and a further jar with cultivation residues. If sold, the drugs would have brought in over 9000 euros.
Multiple tools aimed at cultivation were also seized, such as: coolers, specific fertilizers for cultivation and more. 4 kilos of calcium nitrate, used as fertilizer and numerous scales of precision deemed functional to the carrying out of the illicit activity.
