Four workers without an employment contract, therefore “under the table”, were identified by the financial police of the Foligno company on a construction site in the city and the result was linked to interventions financed with “110% superbonus” funds. Their presence was contested by the contracting company, based outside the region but according to the yellow flames actually operating in Umbria and the so-called maxi-sanction was imposed which provides for fines ranging from a minimum of 7,800 to a maximum of 46,800 euros. In consideration of the exceeding of the threshold of 10% of the workforce – explains the financial police in a statement -, the territorial labor inspectorate of Perugia ordered the immediate suspension of the entrepreneurial activity and after further investigations, contested sanctions administrative matters regarding safety at work, for an amount equal to 27 thousand 650 euros. Since the beginning of the year, the Foligno company, on the basis of the directives given by the provincial command of Perugia, has carried out multiple inspection activities on companies operating in the municipalities of competence, finding overall the employment of 12 workers who were found to be completely “in black” and five “irregular”. More generally, the economic control of the territory of the provincial command of the financial police of Perugia continues in the sector of undeclared work. “In order to protect correct operators from unfair competition exercised by companies that do not respect the rules”, underlines the Corps itself.
