04/06/2024 – On 03 June last, at the “A. Manzoni – L. Lanzi” Comprehensive Institute in Corridonia, the Fiamme Gialle Macerata met the students of the fourth classes of the “Luigi Lanzi” primary school to talk about legality and economic – financial security, as part of the Cultural Week, organized by the aforementioned educational institution.
The lesson was intended to help young people develop awareness of the value of economic legality, with particular reference to the prevention and combating of tax evasion and the squandering of public resources, forgery, counterfeiting, as well as the use and drug dealing. The initiative was highly successful and attracted the attention of students to issues relating to the civil and educational value of “economic and financial security” and the “convenience” of economic-financial legality.
During the meeting, an express and broad reference was also made to the 250th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Corps, illustrating the economic-financial police activity carried out by the Guardia di Finanza in all institutional operational sectors, in order to make the student auditorium the usefulness of the action of the Fiamme Gialle and to raise awareness of the delicate role played by the Corps, as a police body close to all citizens, whose fundamental good of economic freedoms it protects.
The educational-informative activity, organized by the Headmaster – Dr. Daniela Smorlesi, assisted by the teacher Laura Gatti, was held by the Commander of the Operational Unit of the Financial Police Group of Macerata – Lieutenant Augusto Soccionovo, and saw the participation of approximately 50 students. During the event there was also a practical demonstration by one of the canine units of the Guardia di Finanza, continuously engaged in the prevention and combating of crimes relating to the consumption and dealing of narcotic substances, which aroused great enthusiasm among the children. students.
