Investments of 3 billion euros by A2A
Yesterday (Monday 3 June 2024), A2A’s industrial plan was presented to the municipal budget and environment commissions. The words of the mayor of Brescia Laura Castelletti.
“The A2A Industrial Plan confirms the strong link between the company and our territory. With the presentation to the municipal Budget and Environment Commissions by the CEO Renato Mazzoncini and the president Roberto Tascawe had confirmation that the growth of the Group is a value for our city: stronger A2A means more resources, more quality services, more dividends for the Municipality and consequently for the people of Brescia”.
Towards the ecological transition
“In the coming years the Group will invest 3 billion in our territory, 1.8 billion in the city alone. These are fundamental actions for the ecological transition, the real challenge of the coming years. We have, in fact, asked A2A to accompany us on this path with the electrification of consumption, decarbonisation and the protection of a precious commodity such as water, essential elements for combating climate change and obtaining recognition as a European Green Capital”.
“In the Commission, all the political forces expressed great appreciation for the results obtained and for the strategy implemented by the Group. The meeting was also very useful for confirming the industrial vocation of A2A, which with this Plan makes a new leap forward in the name of sustainability”.
