The company Mattioda SpA was awarded the contract announced by the Polytechnic of Turin for the construction of the new Giovanni Cottino center for innovative teaching in the Piedmontese capital.

The project was drawn up by a Temporary Business Association formed by Picco Architetti (architectural), Architect Walter Ceretto (structures), Guido Berra Engineering Studio (acoustic), Facelli Technical Studio (installations), Colletti Engineering (fire prevention), Architect Marco Minari (safety coordination) e Ati Project (technical improvement project).

The Giovanni Cottino Learning Center will be built in via Boggio, within a plot of approximately 1500 m2 in the Cittadella Politecnica.

The new center for innovative teaching will be a volume of 3 floors above ground for approximately 4 thousand square meters of surface area. It will be characterized by the use of sustainable technologies and materials and aims to generate a training model to connect business and the third sector and convey the importance of social sustainability integrated with environmental and economic sustainability. The new center will contain conference rooms, exhibition and educational spaces, a cafeteria and offices.

The completion of the works is scheduled for 2026.
