‘Born to smile’ the solidarity event

Great satisfaction for the ‘Born to smile 2024’ event, held last Sunday. A day of solidarity organized by the newly formed Motoclub Born to Dream and dedicated to disabled children and young people from the San Vitale cooperative and some local families. The kids spent the afternoon having fun aboard an iconic vintage coach, a ’59 OM Tigrotto, escorted by vintage cars and a small procession of motorbikes and Vespas. In the Dora Markus square in Marina di Ravenna they were welcomed by typical Romagna songs and dances from the ‘Alla Casadei’ school of Monia and Bruno Malpassi. After the performance, a sailing trip with the All Sailing 2.0 association was scheduled, but postponed due to adverse weather and sea conditions. The day ended with a buffet offered by the ‘Dante piadina’ piadina kiosk on the Lido di Dante seafront.

An unusual Sunday that brought many smiles to the participants. “The joy of these kids is the fuel for the next project. We are a Motoclub born a few months ago, we will organize many events for the benefit of the Ravenna community to put ourselves at the service of those in need, we strongly believe in the value of solidarity. We are grateful to all the voluntary associations and institutions that supported us in this experience. I am sure that we will soon also recover the boat ride with All Sailing 2.0” explains Salvo Smecca, one of the founders of the Motoclub.
