L’AQUILA – Honors of the Order “Al Merito della Repubblica Italiana” to the Fire Brigade and Guardia di Finanza as part of the Republic Day celebrations.
Ceremony in the Prefecture, yesterday, for the delivery of diplomas to those awarded the Honors of the Order “Al Merito della Repubblica Italiana”. The Prefect Giancarlo Di Vincenzo, in the presence of the mayor Pierluigi Biondi, presented the honors as Knights of the Order, for the Fire Brigade, to Oreste PennelliSpecial Coordinator Director, Maurizio SistaFirst Manager, Marco D’OnofrioDeputy Provincial Commander, Mario VeriniSpecial Coordinator, Carmine IampieriDirector Deputy Director retired, Enzo Albanese, Fire Inspector. Honors also presented to David Very happyLieutenant of the Financial Police and the Selected Officer Fabio Grossi.
The ceremony took place at the end of the Republic Day celebrations which took place at the Villa Comunale, with the laying of a wreath at the War Memorial, a minute of silence and reflection and the reading by the Prefect Giancarlo Di Vincenzoof the message from the President of the Republic, in the presence of the mayor Pierluigi Biondi and civil and military authorities. The Flag Raising, to the tune of the National Anthem, organized by the local State Conservatory of Music.
