State Police personnel, Administrative Team of the Police Headquarters, following recent checks carried out at the “COFFE TIME” Bar, located in Wedge in Via Michele Coppino nr.17/C, found some irregularities in the management of the same by the owner.

In fact, inside the premises in question the operators of the State Police ascertained the failure to display the food and drink administration licence, issued by the Municipality, to be able to carry out the above-mentioned hospitality activity, as well as the lack of tax license from the ‘Customs and Monopolies Agency, why never requested. Therefore the manager, an Italian citizen, was sanctioned, pursuant to art. 17 bis, paragraph 1, of Royal Decree no. 773/31 TULPS in relation to art. 180 TULPS and art 50 paragraph 3 of Legislative Decree no. 504/95, for an amount equal to €408.00.

Furthermore, at the same Bar the operators ascertained the constant presence of subjects burdened by criminal and police records, which is why the Police Commissioner ordered, for reasons of Public Order and Security, the suspension of the license, with consequent immediate closure of the place, for a period of ten days, starting from May 31st, as provided for by art. 100 TULPS.

In the next few days, checks by the State Police will continue with the aim of verifying compliance with current regulations regarding the Administrative Police.
