OLBIA. Clean up and redevelop the area around Lido del Sole, in the Su Buschettu area. This is the objective of the new event organized next year June 5th in Olbia, from 10:00 to 13:00by Fai Cisl, on the occasion of Environment Day.
It is among the events organized in the VI edition of “Make Italy beautiful”, the ecological campaign organized by the union together with the Fai Cisl Studi e Ricerche Foundation and Terra Viva, the Free Agricultural Producers association. Around 100 trade union managers and workers from the Fai Cisl will participate, with a group of students. The general secretary of the Fai Cisl will also be there Onofrio Rota together with the regional secretary Bruno Olivierithe territorial secretaries and the general secretary of the Sardinian CISL Pierluigi Ledda.
“With this initiative – say Cisl – which will restore, through an action of cleaning and environmental education, dignity and decorum in a symbolic place of Olbia with great environmental value, we want to bring to people’s attention the need to safeguard and protect the environment around us, remembering that each of us can and must be protagonists in the protection of our environmental heritage.
Likewise, in a period characterized by catastrophic natural events, the result of a now irrefutable climate change, it is necessary to remember and enhance the environmental protection work carried out by all workers engaged in forestry services and reclamation consortia”.
