Sensational news that comes like a bolt from the blue a few days before the Civitavecchia administrative elections and which has no parallels in the city’s electoral history. The civic list for Grasso mayor “Civitavecchia 2030” is losing pieces. Marinella Scaccia and Daniele Lisi have in fact decided to cease any type of electoral participation with the list which, as mentioned, supports Massimiliano Grasso as a candidate for mayor.
“The undersigned and signatories of the following document Scaccia Marinella and Lisi Daniele – explain Scaccia and Lisi – candidates for city councilors in the next elections, with the Civitavecchia 2030 civic list, in support of the mayoral candidate Massimiliano Grasso, declare that they have ceased any type of electoral participation and therefore they ask their supporters, whom they equally thank, to believe that our presence on the aforementioned electoral list never occurred. This decision was made after some exponents of the current administration, and at the same time, also our traveling companions in the current coalition, acted with acts and resolutions not respecting a healthy and fair policy that should characterize the outgoing administration in the upcoming periods at the end of the mandate and therefore abstain from any decision capable of influencing the near future of the life of the community itself.
We apologize to the citizens, but since this very serious episode, in our opinion, was not duly “treated” by the coalition, which we had decided to join and hence our painful decision to definitively leave the aforementioned Civitavecchia 2030 list and not take more part in the electoral event”.
