BREAKTHROUGH IN THE SPREAFIC CASE, MURDER IS BEING INVESTIGATED
After two years of darkness, the case of Greta Spreafico marks an important novelty. The Rovigo prosecutor’s office has in fact opened a new investigation into the disappearance of the Como rocker, who disappeared into thin air on 4 June 2022 in the Po Delta.
Now he is being investigated for murder and concealment of a body. And there is also a member in the register of suspects.
But how did we get to this point?
The facts date back two years ago. On Saturday 4 June Greta Spreafico disappeared shortly before the appointment she had made with the notary for the sale of a house that belonged to her maternal grandparents. Her car had been filmed by a camera in the Barricata area, near Porto Tolle. And then nothing more.
For years, Spreafico’s family has asked that the investigations go beyond the simple disappearance of the woman, insisting on focusing on her inheritance, on that will modified six months before she disappeared, in favor of her ex-boyfriend.
Thus, after a long period, the investigations regained strength, with the opening of a case for murder and concealment of a corpse. The name of the suspect is currently under strict confidentiality.
The evolution of the investigations would thus have transformed a mysterious disappearance into yet another feminicide in Veneto. But the developments are still to be defined.
