COSENZA – Last night, the staff of the Cosenza Police Headquarters arrested a forty-year-old on charges of domestic abuse. The story originates from a phone call made to the single emergency number 112 a woman who reported having been attacked by her husband in the presence of her children, inside your home, following a discussion generated by trivial reasons.
The lady, gripped by a strong state of anxiety, she took refuge on the bedroom balcony, alerting the police, who promptly arrived on site after managing to enter the apartment thanks to the intervention of their daughter, who opened the front door. The woman had already been the victim of mistreatment by her husband in the past, who, using a house key, first the serrated part caused a clear scratch on her backcausing a 20 cent abrasion and then placing a pot of water on the heat, with the clear intent of pouring it on her.
The man was arrested in flagrante delicto for mistreatment in the family and, on the orders of the Public Prosecutor on duty at the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Cosenza, he was transferred to prison, where – following a hearing to validate the arrest – he was subjected to the precautionary measure of removal from the family home, ordering the application of the electronic bracelet in order to constantly monitor compliance with the aforementioned prohibition.
