Greta Spreafico, the singer from Como who disappeared into thin air in June 2022 in Porto Tolle, in the province of Rovigo, was apparently killed. Two years later, the Venetian prosecutor’s office opened a file for the crime of murder and concealment of a corpse on the case of the then 53-year-old from Erba. Greta Spreafico’s family lost track of the woman from the night between 3 and 4 June 2022, when the singer was in Porto Tolle, in the province of Rovigo, for sell an apartment inherited from your grandfather.
The then 53-year-old had not shown up for the appointment with the notary for the deed of sale set for June 6 and her partner Gabriele Lietti had raised the alarm. The woman’s cell phone was found on the kitchen table of the house for sale.

The investigations of the Rovigo prosecutor’s office
The first investigations had focused on Andrea Tosi, a gardener from Adria and resident of Porto Tolle whom the woman had met on Facebook thanks to their shared passion for rock, and who was the last person to see Greta Spreafico on the evening of 3 June , when they spent the evening together clubbing.
The trail of the 58-year-old’s alleged responsibilities had been abandoned with thearchiving requested by the prosecutor’s office in October 2023 and the family itself would never have been convinced of the man’s involvement.
“He wasn’t the right person to look at,” Greta’s brother Simone Spreafico told Corriere della Sera.

“In our opinion he saw something, it could have been involuntary witness but he is not the person who could have harmed Greta – he stated – In our opinion something else needs to be investigated. Let’s hope that this time they looked the right way.”
The hypothesis of the murder of Greta Spreafico
The family’s suspicions were immediately directed against her partner Gabriele Lietti, to whom the 53-year-old had sent her last message: “He had distanced her from us and from care – added her brother Simone – Greta had gone to live with him and at this point he was the one who should have taken care of it, the neighbors said many things in totally opposite directions.”
During the period of the disappearance, the sister, who had suffered from depression in the past, was going through a period of great fragility and apparently turned to a private investigator claiming to fear for your safety.
Various witnesses would have reported frequent arguments with her boyfriend, from whom she would have distanced herself, but in 2021 the singer had abandoned her 400 square meter villa in Erba due to difficult relationships with her mother and brothers: from her mother she would also have received a warning letter to approach after alleged episodes of physical violence and for having stolen furniture from the villa.
The investigation is also complicated by two different versions of the woman’s willin possession of land and buildings for a total asset of around one million euros: in a holographic document dating back to 2018 he left everything to his mother, while in another from 2021 he appointed Lietti as heir.
The turning point in the investigation into Greta Spreafico came after the request to reopen the investigation made by the lawyer Nunzia Barzan, the family’s lawyer who continued to interact with the magistrates: “We don’t yet know the crime, but it will probably be investigated for murder” he has declared.
