Monza charming location for the assembly of the Royal Residences of Europe

On the routes of the royals who traveled from Milan to Monza, to spend luxury and artistic stays in Villa Reale and its monumental gardens. This is how the representatives of theAssociation of Royal Residences of Europe which this year has chosen Lombardy for thegeneral assembly. The international event will open at Palazzo Reale in Milan on June 5th with 51 representatives from 31 institutions different coming from 14 countries Europeans. For the occasion Monza is ready to show off all her charm thanks also to a series of contributions such as that of State Railways Foundation which will provide a historic train to transfer the delegation of the Royal Residences of Europe from Milan to the Brianza capital on 6 June.

THE MONZESE PROGRAM FOR THE EVENT

The city will show its jewels, determined to shine among the most prestigious European places of culture and art that are part of the Royal Residences of Europe, a list of around 100 palace-museums across the continent.
On the program is a visit to Monza Cathedralat the Chapel of the Iron Crown and its Museum. Other essential stages will be there Expiatory Chapel and the Royal Palace of Monza. Participants will then be granted the honor of inaugurating the traveling exhibition in the south wing of the Villa “The traveling palace”, a photographic excursus dedicated to the sumptuous train that once escorted the Italian royals and their illustrious guests. The common thread of the Royal Train and the royal residences will be intertwined with the extraordinary quality of the arts and Italian “know-how”. Even the people of Monza and Brianza will be able to admire the exhibition and its prestigious location because the event will then be open to the public until 30 June 2024 which will also find two corners in the two Royal Railway Halls.

GRAND TOUR IN THE PARK FOR THE LEADERS OF EUROPE’S ROYAL RESIDENCES

But for the city of Monza, as we know, the most precious jewel is all in green. In the afternoon, the train there Park Arrow will accompany the representatives of the European Royal Residences on a tour to discover the architectural, landscape and monumental components of the compendium of the Royal Gardens and Park of Monza.
Finally, on 7 June, after immersion in the beauty of Brianza cultivated by the ancient royals, the “Grand Tour” will continue towards Villa Carlotta.
