Towards the elections – 03 June 2024
Confindustria Lecce, in view of the next administrative elections of the capital municipality, has organized a meeting for today, Monday 3 June 2024, at the company headquarters with the candidates for the office of mayor Agostino Ciucci (3pm), Adriana Poli Bortone (4pm ), Carlo Salvemini (5pm) and Alberto Siculella (6.30pm).
“This moment – we read in a note from Confindustria Lecce – represents a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to meet with those who may be called upon to redesign the future of the city. The objective of the meeting is in fact to delve into the programs of each candidate, with particular reference to topics such as economic development, infrastructure, support for businesses, innovation and sustainability”.
“I firmly believe – says Valentino Nicolì, president of Confindustria Lecce – that it is essential for us, as representatives of the business world, to understand the proposals and visions for the city: our contribution is in fact crucial for the progress and prosperity of the territory. With this in mind, we have prepared a document that summarizes some of Lecce’s development priorities and the meeting will be useful to reiterate the centrality of businesses and their social value in building a better future for Lecce and its citizens”.
