Having concluded the activities of ‘May of Books 2024’ with smiles and general satisfaction, a true success for the registered participation, the Quartu Urban Library System does not stop and relaunches for the next month of June with the planning of various meetings to take place in the afternoon.
The events dedicated to the youngest age group of citizens, promoted with the aim of immediately introducing children to reading, and thus promoting a certain familiarity among them within a cultural context such as the library, in the first month of summer, when schools and kindergartens close, they grow further.
Precisely to meet the needs of users, the Ragazzi di Via Dante library offers two new features. First of all, it doubles the number of appointments: in addition to the usual Wednesday afternoon, the activity will be repeated on Thursday, again in the evening. Furthermore, from next June 19th, the opening hours will be moved from 4.30 pm to 5.00 pm, thus avoiding having to go to the library during the hottest hours.
The first event is scheduled for Wednesday 5th and will be dedicated to children aged 6 and up. ‘The challenge of the houses‘ will then be repeated on Thursday 6th, Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th. Later here are the events for the little ones, from 0 to 5 years old: Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th will be ‘evenings’Abrakadabra’.
