Frontini: “We support the value of young people from Viterbo”
VITERBO – Certificate of merit for the Viterbo native Leonardo Geronzi, presented by the mayor Chiara Frontini with the city councilor delegated to the new generations Francesca Pietrangeli in the presence of the young engineer’s family.
Mayor Frontini, on behalf of the city of Viterbo, wanted to thank Leonardo Geronzi for having distinguished himself in the international biomedical field for his extraordinary talent in having designed an innovative tool for the prevention, diagnosis and monitoring of aortic aneurysm. For the very important result achieved he won the National Innovation Award last December 1st in Milan. “LThe city gives credit to young excellences like Leonardo – stated the mayor Frontini while handing over the worthy recognition -: a boy who is growing and establishing himself from a professional point of view, among other things in a very complex and delicate field such as biomedical research and who has decided to undertake in the sector of innovative start-ups. They are positive role models who must be supported and made known because often not even we Viterbo people know the values we have.”. An award that Leonardo Geronzi greatly appreciated and that he wanted to dedicate to his father, who recently passed away.
