Conference “The victims of hate” on 4 June in Catanzaro

Catanzaro – Tomorrow 4 June 2024 at 11am, the “Victims of Hate” initiative will be held, organized by the Catanzaro Police Headquarters and the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri with the Observatory for Security against Discriminatory Acts (OSCAD).

The event is aimed at promoting the culture of inclusion and combating all forms of hatred and discrimination. In the Hall of Cultures of the Catanzaro Province building, located in Piazza Luigi Rossi, with Civil and Military Authorities present, the debate conference held by experts and consultants on the subject will take place, aimed at knowledge and reflection on discriminatory phenomena, prevention and actions to combat discriminatory crimes. The event will be attended by the Deputy Chief of the State Police, Prefect Vittorio Rizzi, president of the OSCAD. The Observatory for Security against Discriminatory Acts (OSCAD) was established in 2010, as a joint instrument to optimize the action of the State Police and the Carabinieri, to strengthen prevention and contrast activities and to establish a closer and more collaborative relationship with all the Police Headquarters and the Provincial Headquarters of the Carabinieri in the national territory, each equipped with an OSCAD territorial contact person.
