ROCCA DI PAPA | VELLETRI | NEMI (Luciana Vinci) – Saturday 8 June 2024, an entire day dedicated to Transhumance is scheduled: excursion (by reservation), Transhumance Village with stand and presentation of the Lazio Transhumance Path.
“A Park of Emotions: On the trail of Transhumance” is a free event, organized by the Parco dei Castelli Romani with the contribution of the Lazio Region, financed by the funds of the ‘LazioCrea’ Public Notice “For events to be held in the territory of the Region Lazio between 15 March and 30 June 2024″, and will take place between the municipalities of Rocca di Papa, Velletri and Nemi.

From 10am at the Federal Equestrian Center (Cef) Pratoni del Vivaro Ranieri di Campello (Rocca di Papa) the “Transhumance Village” will be set up with thematic exhibition, informative, educational, gastronomic and children’s stands. It is not possible to enter the Federal Equestrian Center with dogs.
The transhumance bag will be offered with tastings of culinary products, prepared by ‘Historia Gusti’ for hikers, and while supplies last, for all those who come to visit us at the Village stands.
At around 4pm, again at the Cef, the presentation of the SCU project of the Lazio Transhumance Path will be held. The presentation will be enriched by testimonies of Transhumance and experiences of Universal Civil Service.
