The discovery of the fake banknotes
During a normal check, the Carabinieri of the Pomezia Company stopped a 20-year-old young man who was caught running at high speed on Via dei Castelli Romani. During the search of the vehicle, the military discovered a large quantity of counterfeit banknotes in the document compartment. The banknotes, all 20 euros, were seized and subjected to further checks.
