Also for this school year, the initiative to raise awareness and support for legality in favor of an informed use of the internet and technology, in the schools of the Province of Bolzano, carried out by the staff of the Operational Section for Cybernetic Security of the capital.
The Operational Section for Cyber Security of Bolzano was particularly involved in awareness and information activities on the issues of cyberbullying and the conscious use of the network carried out in favor of the provincial school community and which resulted in no. 58 training interventions (26 of which in German), during which approximately 4,590 students, parents, teachers and school workers were reached.
The Postal Police – the specialist branch of the State Police responsible for preventing and combating cyber crime and which links its origins to the theme of protecting minors from every possible form of online exploitation and abuse – has dealt with issues such as illicit diffusion of images of an intimate nature between young people, implemented through the use of the Internet and modern digital communication technologies, the protection of personal data, online child pornography, web browsing, social networks, scams and property crimes.
There were countless signs of appreciation and gratitude for these information and prevention actions.
Collaborations continue with important players who share projects, values and objectives with the Postal Service, and the prevention initiatives that the Postal Police conduct to spread the culture of digital security and stem the continuous challenges that are renewed and intensified every day in the virtual world, also through the official portal of the online DIPS police station.
A daily commitment that is made up of many nuances, united by the objective of making the internet a safer place and users aware and responsible users of the resources they have at their disposal.
