Italian double in a match that had endless emotions in store. Pecco Bagnaia, (Ducati Lenovo Team) exalts himself and triumphs in the Italian MotoGP on the Mugello Circuit ahead of an exceptional Enea Bastianini and Jorge Martín, Spanish Prima Pramac Racing, third.
The reigning world champion started fifth due to a penalty during qualifying and made a great comeback at the start, overtaking Enea Bastianini, Marquez, Maverick Vinales and Martín one after the other. His was a race without errors: great control, maximum attention even in the final laps when Martín reduced the gap then the big surprise when Bastianini overtook the Spaniard at the end to finish second for an exceptional Italian one-two.
The MotoGP Italian Grand Prix at the Mugello racetrack saw the presence of 156,676 spectators over the entire weekend. Friday’s free practice and pre-qualifying sessions were followed by 25,513 fans, approximately double (49,536) for Saturday with qualifying and the sprint race, while 81,627 turned out to watch the Sunday races. Compared to last year, which saw the presence of 135,670 spectators, Mugello saw an increase in spectators of approximately 15%.
