Filippo Blengino (treasurer of Radicali Italiani) participated yesterday (Saturday 1 June) in the Cuneo Pride by distributing Radicali Italiani branded condoms with the words “Do it safe”
“Every year – declares Blengino – over 4000 cases of sexually transmitted infections have been recorded. For years we have been calling for the introduction of condom dispensers in schools, not only to prevent the spread of diseases, but also to promote a culture of responsibility and awareness among young people. It is essential to teach them the importance of protection and mutual respect. We dream of a school where emotions, respect, consent and healthy relationships are compulsory subjects. A school that does not bend to retrograde logic, but that builds a better future for children, going beyond the simple management of the ordinary. We also dream of a world where discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity no longer exists, a world where every individual, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, can live freely and without fear. This is why we are here today, this is why we will always stand by the LGBT community.”
