an exhilarating experience, beyond the cheering solidarity wins

It’s summer time, holidays and the desire to be outdoors. Mino Bellifemine, historic exponent of the Inter Club, known and appreciated for his vital energy and great human strength (also thanks to his inseparable wife), draws a first, comforting assessment of the beautiful, unusual and pioneering experience of the Women’s Club , which started in Andria quietly and exploded in an explosive way, with its load of sympathy, solidarity and concreteness.

“When the Women’s Club started, it seemed a bit kitsch, snobbish, and I honestly had no idea what the ladies would do. I also had to convince the Inter Club Council that it was a feasible idea and that the small sum that we would have allocated to the ladies for current expenses would have brought us a return to our image. Having to open up to all the women of all fans and non-members was another stomach ache that I had to let them digest.”

So a positive experience?

“Today that we closed the Women’s Club for the summer holidays I must say that all doubts have been dispelled!! Around 300 women in total took turns in our office for all the meetings that were held every Thursday. We talked about foster care, of organ donations, of research and fight against cancer, of autism, of violence against women, of magnetic pollution, of physical fitness, divorce and pregnancy, of skeletal diseases and of Japanese culture, a projection in strict “Andriese” is admired and commented on “and visited underground Andria…all strictly female. No man participated except Diego Scarcelli, advisor”.

An experience therefore that brought together housewives and professionals, young mothers and strong grandmothers.

“Of course, this flatters us a lot. I would like to thank all the associations and professionals who collaborated for the success of the social and comparison experiment. We are truly grateful to you. Thanks to the Inter Club councilors who are always available, but above all thanks to you women from Andria not just mothers, but women open to dialogue and discussion. Ad maiora there is still something he can do.”

So, see you next winter season.
