If the good weather can be seen from the morning… and if the enthusiasm can be seen from the first challenges, all that remains is to enjoy an intense afternoon, one to remember for a long time: the last day of school tournament matches has begun in Salsomaggiore Terme ‘Girls at play‘ And ‘Everyone in Goal‘ and the spa town’s sports hall was colored with the enthusiasm of the kids present. On the field this morning the teams ready to compete for the finals to assign third place in the two competitions; all the other boys and girls from the lower secondary schools were in the stands, cheering on the new friends they had met in recent days.
First the ‘Girls in play’ match, the all-female five-a-side football tournament where Emilia-Romagna won 7-3 against Puglia; therefore a new success for the ‘host’ region – this time on penalties after a 3-3 draw in regular time, against Trento – in the final for third place of ‘Tutti in Goal’, the mixed futsal tournament, where there must be at least two girls per team on the pitch.
And this afternoon the very final expectations: the program will open with Trento-Abruzzo (kick-off at 3.30 pm) for ‘Ragazze in Gioco’. The last act of ‘Tutti in Goal’ will instead see Piedmont and Sardinia opposing each other, again in the exceptional setting of the Salsomaggiore Terme sports hall, starting from 4.30pm.
