Fano (Pu).- The Marche Region rejoices at the Palabrodetto with chef Daniele Tantucci winning the National Brodetti and Fish Soups Competition. The Anconetana brodetto wins the award for Best Italian Fish Soup of 2024. Its success was decreed by the votes of the popular jury made up of the guests of the 4 rounds of the competition and the evaluations of the technical jury made up of the elite of food and wine critics Italian: Alberto Lupini, journalist and gastronomic commentator, director of Italia a Tavola – Igles Corelli, Chef awarded 5 Michelin stars and well-known face of Gambero Rosso Channel – Nicola Dante Basile, journalist, writer and editor of the blog “Terra Nostra” of ilsole24ore .com.

Last day, today, at Lido di Fano for this edition of the Brodetto Fest which closes with a parade of stars: the Palabrodetto hosts, in fact, two of the most famous starred chefs in Italy. At 1pm the spotlights (and stoves) turn on the chef’s culinary creation Igles Corelliundisputed master of Italian cuisine who, after having acted as judge in the competition between Italian fish soups, presents his guests with a creation with an evocative title: fried and risottoed spinosini, clams and parsley air. In the afternoon, Lungomare Simonetti hosts in-depth meetings organized by Food Brand Marche in space Brodetto & Wine. In fact, at 6.00 pm, a guided tasting takes place in the cavea of ​​the lido featuring some of the best labels of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC. Doors also open for Brodetto & Kids, the space that BrodettoFest, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty – Masaf, dedicates to the little ones. For children under 4 years old, creative and educational workshops, storytelling and fairy tales from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm while for older children the program includes: “If the Prof says so.” (6.00 pm), meeting to discover the fish of the Adriatic Sea with a fish-based snack; followed by a workshop organized by Legambiente entitled EcOrigami and, at 8.00 pm, the cooking show “Guarda e Gusta” with tasting for children.

At 8pm the kitchens of the Palabrodetto close with the cooking show of the explosive and multi-starred chef Andrea Aprea, representative of a cuisine that aims to trigger a process of exchange between different places of experience: in memory, in the look, in the sense of smell, in the palate. Now giving priority to one, now satisfying the needs of the other. At the BrodettoFest, his creation, entitled Seafood Soup, it is an intriguing reinterpretation of fish soup to accompany the audience on a true culinary journey. The last events of the 22nd edition of the tastiest event on the Adriatic are the guided tasting of Verdicchio di Matelica DOC at 9.00 pm in the Brdetto&Wine space hosted in the cavea of ​​the Lido and the concert of Renzo Rubino and the Sbandaat 9.30 pm on the central stage: a lively and unique musical experience, “Il silence fa boom” is the title of the project that best combines Rubino’s qualities as a great pop author and performer with the Italian band tradition for a dive into the evocative atmosphere of village festivals.

Brodetto alla Fanese is the great protagonist even outside the confines of the Festival. In fact, it can be tasted in the 20 restaurants of the circuit organized by Confesercenti Pesaro and Urbino and in the large Spazio Bro – Cucina dei Pescatori set up and managed in collaboration with the Antonio Gaudenzi Srl company. A recipe prepared with 100% local fish Adriatic certified by skilled fishermen, still today representative of a thousand-year-old tradition. In the same spaces, in addition to the broth, there is also the Clam Corner, in collaboration with La Liscia Da M. Ori and the New Copromo company, which will host moments of information and tasting in order to enhance a fundamental sector of Fano fishing as well as driving force for the entire local fishery.
