Not only that, but repeated episodes pose highlighting the psychological fragility of too many non-EU citizens, with syndromes often coming from past experiences of poverty, war and violence suffered. A fragility that creates danger and often leads to extreme consequences for citizens. Basically we live close to real social bombs ready to explode at any time.
As in the case of Rovereto, a city in which the perception of insecurity it is perhaps higher than in the capital, but evidently, at least for the sensational percentage of citizens who did not go to vote, it could be that they are fine with it or that they feel discouraged that there is nothing left to do now.
Personally I think the second hypothesis is probable, although those who don’t vote and then complain should do some deep soul-searching.
Having said that and returning to the problem of mentally unstable and violent non-EU citizens, given that those who mainly commit crime dealing I am – in my personal opinion – now a cancer in metastasis, perhaps it would be appropriate to create or strengthen a working group and provide innovative guidelines, with protocols aimed at identifying and preventing the actions of those who represent a potential danger to the community due to mental health problems.
I am certainly not equipped to give recipes, but the need for strengthening the psychiatric checks rather than police checks should be seriously evaluated.
Since the indicators of the distress of many potential attackers or harmers are certainly not invisible, perhaps local controls should be strengthened, also taking into account take this aspect into account.
What is certain is that if the visible indicators are not considered because those who suffer from them are in themselves considered a “Invisible” until the gesture is completed, we will never know what awaits us every time we leave the house or, given the times, even staying inside.
And this is only our fault, perhaps the real madmen for certain politicians are us.
