“A stronger Piedmont thanks to European opportunities” – Targatocn.it

Elisa Tarasco and Enzo Tassonecandidates in the province of Cuneo for Brothers of Italy, in the elections for the Piedmont Regional Council, organized the meeting with the MEP yesterday, Friday 31 May in Cuneo Carlo Fidanza which was also attended by the provincial coordinator of the party William Casoni together with Monica Ciaburromember of the Chamber and mayor of Argentera.

Elisa Tarasco reflects on the meeting taking inspiration from what was illustrated by theMEP Carlo Fidanza.

The words of the Honorable Carlo Fidanza have strengthened my commitment and determination to work for a stronger and more prosperous Piedmont, if I have the honor of being elected as a regional councilor.

I think it is of fundamental importance have a regional policy that is closely linked to European realitiesto make the most of the opportunities that the Union offers us.

AND necessary attract more European funds for our territory so that they can be used to improve infrastructure (which is lacking especially in our province of Cuneo), to support small and medium-sized businesses, agriculture, the mountains and the ‘middle’ lands.

I believe that Piedmont must have an important position in the European contextthanks to our excellence in various sectors ranging, just to name a few, from food and wine to culture, nature and tourism.

Piedmont must have a strong and competent representation, capable of communicating effectively with the European institutions to advance the needs of its inhabitants and its territory”.
