After the mayor of Lucca Mario Pardini and the sole director of Metro Roberto Di Grazia have issued the first access ticket to the Guinigi Tower from new ticket office, set up in one of the most beautiful rooms on the ground floor of the buildingthere was a succession of visits and compliments from visitors for the new location.
The great enthusiasm of the first German visitor who was waiting to enter, as soon as the inauguration ceremony ended, and which was immortalized in the photographs taken at the time, did not remain isolated.

Compared to the previous situation, the premises are more beautiful and spacious and Metro, which has been managing this monument since 2024, has tried to include many improvements.
“We are really satisfied with the impact that the new ticket office has had on visitors and also on our operators – says the sole director of Metro Roberto Di Grazia -. For our part, we have also set up the bookshop located at the exit of the tower, enriched by volumes on the history of Lucca and various branded souvenirs City of Lucca. With these additions and innovations, we are certainly making an important contribution to achieving a subsequent step to the already high level of excellence in the activities of valorising the city’s cultural heritage, in which Metro is significantly involved with the new Pardini administration”.
