CORIGLIANO-ROSSANO – «By now only one thing is clear: the opposing coalition, built by and for Germaneto, doesn’t have the slightest idea in any sector for the city. The press release from the coalition in support of the outgoing mayor of Corigliano-Rossano, Flavio Stasi, goes on the attack. «This is the sad drift of a political tradition now in disrepair, a mediocrity so embarrassing that even their own candidates are ashamed, but we also want to point out the sad expedients of poor communication which would also be inadequate for a condominium competition».
The Stasians bring to attention an example: «In the title of the latest press release these comedian geniuses write “financing revoked”; in the text instead they change and say “the ministry will revoke”, so in practice the news is the terrible divinatory powers of a political class that can’t catch one. All this to do what? To miserably attack a municipal employee, a deserving competition winner like dozens of boys and girls in recent years, for squalid political reasons.”
We then move on to social services: «trying to leverage the needs of families who have already faced numerous critical issues on a daily basis, the squalor of this political class from the first republic emerges plastically. The sector has superbly faced the reform made operational 20 years late by the Calabria Region and has admirably carried out the role of municipal leader of the Territorial Area, providing services to 100 thousand citizens, opening 4 Social Secretariats, the first Alzheimer’s Café in the area , the first multifunctional center for autism, signing the “independent living project” with the families, which is the heart of the reform. The answers no longer start from the offer of existing services, but from the person’s priorities, in a project that includes all areas of life. A reversal of perspective that undermines consolidated operational practices and which goes in the direction of equal rights for all.”
The pro-Stasi coalition defends the outgoing executive: «The current administration not only has not lost even a single euro in the social sector, but will never suffer any reduction because it is at the head of a social area, from the Trionto valley to the Arberia, which plans and who manages everything. Not only. The funds intercepted by the Administration are in reality over 120 million euros to which we must add the funds that the previous administrations, totally incapable, were unable to spend and which would certainly have been lost if there had not been a competent administration ».
