“Ianua, the broken chain”

Matteo Foppa Pedretti Thursday 30 May, 5.30pm at the Virginia Carini Dainotti room at the State Library of Cremonawill be a guest of Committee of the Dante Alighieri Society of Cremona.

The author will present his latest book, sharing his thoughts with the Cremonese public.

It is not just a novel, but a very particular journey, where between fantasy and reality the author also analyzes the present and the current situation with adequate tools, bringing an important contribution of reflection.

A plane disappears, its remains are found six days later in a valley in the Alps, but there is no trace of the passengers. The news passes quickly, few people care about it, and here another “page” opens: when Anna Bertelli wakes up she finds all the other passengers as if they were dead or just asleep. She is shipwrecked on a planet called Yannas, the Threshold. Anna will begin to get to know the inhabitants of that planet. What opens up is a sort of comparison with what happens on earth.

Matteo Foppa Pedretti will enter the pages of his novel to present what is a journey around each of us.
