A 38-year-old man Carlo Gaglio was found dead inside a house in via Platone 6 in Agrigento. He was lying on the sofa in the kitchen area.

According to an initial reconstruction it seems that the man died of an overdose, but the theory has not yet been confirmed (however, a syringe was found in another room of the house. Together with the victim there were three other people including the one who raised the alarm. All are now in the premises of the Police Headquarters to be subjected to interrogation by the prosecuting prosecutor, Alessia Battaglia and the deputy head of the Flying Squad, Andrea Palermo.

The alarm was raised – as written. thanks to the report of a friend of the victim, the police from the Agrigento Flying Section arrived on site and are interviewing the neighbors and the Scientific Police who are carrying out investigations inside the house. As anticipated, the magistrate on duty, the deputy public prosecutor, Alessia Battaglia, as well as the medical examiner also arrived on site for the first cadaveric inspection.
