An exceptional initiative to promote the largest table tennis event ever. To the 91st CSIO Piazza di Sienaorganized by Italian Equestrian Sports Federationthere is also space for table tennis, in view of the ITTF World Masters Table Tennis Championships Rome 2024 – presented by Stag Globalwhich will be disputed at the Nuova Fiera di Roma from 7 to 14 July and they will see in the race 6,100 athletes Over 40 (with 30% women), coming from well 109 countries from five continentssupported by over 2,500 officials and companions.
In the four days of Piazza di Siena, the Italian Table Tennis Federation made available to athletes and the public two tables to try table tennis, under the guidance of federal technicians.
A special challenge was also staged, between Table Tennis and Equestrian Sports. The two General Secretaries, Giuseppe Marino for FITeT e Simone Perillo for Fise, they faced each other with racket shots in a fun match in which enthusiasm and the healthy values of sport won.
It was only the first leg, hosted by Fise, the second leg will take place during the Masters World Championships in July.
