ANCONA – This year too, solidarity travels on two wheels thanks to the motorcyclists of the 2 Wheels 4 Benefit association. Almost 400 motorbikes, leaving from Petriano, reached Ancona to parade in front of the Mother and Child Department of the University Hospital of the Marche for the joy of hospitalized children.
A charitable mission, now in its 14th edition, which again this year donated the entire proceeds (15 thousand euros) obtained from registrations to the motorbike rally, to support the numerous activities that the Salesi Onlus Hospital Foundation implements daily for well-being of hospitalized children and their families, as well as for important research projects.
A moment of great joy and surprise for the hospital patients who from the windows of the hospital rooms were able to watch the parade of racing cars which also caught the attention of many onlookers who witnessed the procession along the Viale della Vittoria.
A delegation of motorcyclists, led by Matteo Fermani, accompanied by operators from the Salesi Onlus Hospital Foundation, delivered gifts, gadgets and surprises to the children. The Salesi Onlus Hospital Foundation expressed “great gratitude” for the appointment which has been renewed for 14 years and which “gives a lot of joy to the children, breaking the routine of hospital stays. These solidarity initiatives are very important because they allow us to carry out our activities for the benefit of hospitalized children and their families.”
