TREVISO – Yesterday afternoon in the center of Treviso a 17 year old was surrounded, threatened with brass knuckles and robbed of his wallet by a baby gang. The aggression It happened on Friday afternoon, around 3pm, between Via Gabriele D’Annunzio and Piazza Pio.

The young man, accompanied by a friend, was shopping liquid for the electronic cigarette from a vending machine when a boy of about 15 years old he approached with the excuse of asking for the card used for the purchase. When the 17-year-old refused, five other boys, between 15 and 16 years old, surrounded him, driving his friend away with threats.

After snatching a drink and popcorn from his friend’s hand, the gang started pushing the 17-year-old, ordering him to hand over the money. One of them pulled out a brass knuckle to further intimidate the victim. In an attempt to calm his attackers, the boy offered some coins, but the criminals took the entire wallet, fleeing before the police arrived.

Once he got over the shock, the young man told his parents what had happened and together they filed a complaint. The investigations are ongoing and the numerous surveillance cameras in the center could facilitate the identification of the culprits.
