Medon Berisha, Lecce midfielder who has alternated between Primavera and the first team in the last two seasons, gave an interview to Planet Lecce: “I always worked to the maximum, in every training session, even if I wasn’t playing. I got angry, of course, but I always trained to the maximum. I tried to improve in every aspect and I think I did it. It was a year of experience, I saw players like Ramadani and Pongracic who gave me a lot of advice. The first 10-15 seconds of my debut against Inter were exciting, but then the concentration leads you to not even listen to the noises of the stadium both as a midfielder and as a midfielder.”
D’Aversa used it little.
“I don’t think it was a question of form. The greater experience of my teammates probably had an impact. I can say that Mr. D’Aversa is a good person, he often spoke to me well and was sorry for my lack of employment, he told me that I deserved more. Of course, I could have played a few more games.”
How did it arrive in Salento?
“Lecce contacted me even before January 2022, but with my father I decided to refuse because I was only 17 years old. I had a good championship with Young Boys, also playing in the Youth League. Despite several offers, together with my father (agent times) I decided to go to Lecce”.
What do you see in your future?
“I see myself in Lecce, I imagine at least another year here, I would like it. We will certainly be an even stronger team than the current one. I used to live in Switzerland but I prefer to live here. Lecce has become my second home.”
