The Carpi Host Lions Club met the Board of Directors of Gafa Alzheimer’s Family Assistance Group with which it collaborates for an important project against cognitive decline. The president of the Lions Club Carpi Host Marco Arlettiaccompanied by the vice president Marco Facchini and other members of the Lions club, accepted the invitation of the Gafa Board of Directors to attend a meeting of their Council held at the Gafa headquarters in the Casa del Volunteering in Viale Peruzzi. “This was the occasion – said the president of Gafa, the geriatrician Anna Ragazzoni – to thank the Lion Club Carpi Host for the support it has given to our “Art-musical-dotherapy and cognitive decline” project.

“This project – the doctor clarified in turn Vanda Menon, who is the creator and technical scientific contact and coordinator of this initiative – which includes workshops aimed at the sick-family couple that use therapeutic methods linked to art (music, painting, sculpture, singing and more), also applicable in everyday life to improve the emotional, affective and functional state of the family as a whole, they are highly appreciated for the benefits they bring. Thanks to the support received from the Lions Club Carpi Host we have been able to expand our offer”.
