In Sassari the bituminous works and securing city streets, coordinated by the Mobility Infrastructure Sector. Some interventions in the central area of ​​the city closed in recent days, the workers are now busy in Tottubella and Campanedda. From Friday 24 May road maintenance operations begin in Ottava, in the streets Diana, Bacchelli, Murenu, Tucconi, Bertolotti, Maxia, Ziu Remundu, Pisurzi, B. Diegu, B. Sarippa and R. Branca. Also planned is the construction of sections of sidewalks in via Diana and Brottu Salippa. At the end of the bituminous work, those relating to the restoration of the horizontal and vertical signs will follow. With the completion of these activities, traffic changes will begin agreed with the neighborhood committee, with the aim of making traffic safer and more fluid, also for the benefit of pedestrians.

All interventions will be carried out at open traffic; the alternating one-way traffic will be ensured with the help of workers from the company carrying out the works. Instead, parking bans will be installed: the sector Mobility Infrastructures asks for respect from motorists in order not to cause a slowdown in work.

The Sector also recommends that pedestrians and motorists take the maximum attention, compliance with construction site signs and instructions provided by operators. Pedestrians should limit their passage as much as possible sections affected by the work.

After Ottava it will be the turn of Sant’Orsola districtalready affected in recent weeks by the bituminous works of the entrance avenue from the former 131, with the completion of via Miriam Riccio and the related sidewalks and the arrangement of the parking area adjacent to the Edina Altara square.
