TREVISO – Giro-E of Italya team from the Guardia di Finanza also pedaled along the route road e-bikeincluded as a cycling event in the calendar of the Italian Cycling Federation. A team of financiers takes part in the sporting event, which takes place on the days and on the roads of the Giro d’Italia, made up of athletes from the Fiamme Gialle Sports Group and soldiers who perform ordinary service in the Corps, riding monocoque carbon fiber electric bikes. In particular, the eighteenth stage of the Giro-E, starting from San Biagio di Callalta in Treviso and arriving in Padua, saw the participation of a team from the Guardia di Finanza led by the Financier Scelto Davide Ghiotto, athlete of the Fiamme Gialle in the discipline of Skating Speed, gold medal at the World Championships in Calgary, Canada, in 2024.
At the start of the stage, in Piazza Walter Tobagi in San Biagio di Callalta, the Corps is present inside the “Green Fun Village” with its own exhibition stand, where citizens and sports enthusiasts can meet a representation of financiers from the Provincial Command of Treviso, enriched by the presence of a dog unit, to ask for information, satisfy curiosity and learn, from the voice of women and men of the Fiamme Gialle, the history, the traditions, the institutional mission and the projection towards the future challenges of the Economic-Financial Police of our country.
