The return of a tradition in the name of Marco Polo. “Scuola Medio Manualità” returns to this common thread again this year, the Confartigianato Marca Trevigiana Formazione project which has involved middle school students in Treviso for 44 years. At the end of a journey that involved two hundred girls and boys from seven classes, the works carried out by the students in the four workshops conducted by the master craftsmen will be presented on Friday 24 May.

Appointment starting at 10 am in the auditorium of the “Giuseppe Coletti” school, branch of a secondary school. The common thread of the workshops was “Being and doing Veneto sailing with Marco Polo to discover new worlds and customs linked to the tradition and history of local craftsmanship”. The theme was explored in the workshops “Notebooks with geographical maps”, “Ceramics”, “Paper fans” and “Fabrics on looms”. Before each workshop, the classes carried out training on Marco Polo and his journey, touching on history and literature topics, under the guidance of teachers Paola Scibilia and Lorella Agosto. The project involved the schools “Arturo Martini”, “Serena”, “Felissent” and the branch office “Mantegna”, “Stefanini”, “Coletti” and the branch office “Bianchetti” and benefited from the contribution of the Municipality of Treviso , Department of Participation and Education.
