Ban on contracting with the public administration for a period of 1 year. This was ordered by the investigating judge of the Court of Salerno against 4 joint-stock companies operating in the sector of construction of residential buildings and installation, repair and maintenance of lifts. The order implementing the precautionary measure was carried out in the morning by the Guardia di Finanza of the Provincial Command of Salerno. According to what emerged from the investigations carried out by the Economic-Financial Police Unit of Salerno and the Judicial Police Section – State Police Unit, two of the companies, Cesistenza Barozzi SpA” and “Passarelli SpA”, awarded the contract relating to the “Construction works of the new Judicial offices – Cittadella Giudiziaria of Salerno, would not have adopted and, in any case, effectively implemented, organization and management models suitable to prevent the respective legal representatives from supplying goods different in nature, order, quality and performance from those indicated in the contract of the contract and in the fulfillment of the obligations deriving from the same. The other two companies recipients of the interdictory measure, “Euroascensori Service srl” in charge of the installation of elevator systems and “Hacca Impianti Srl” in charge of the elevator maintenance service, would not have adopted and, in any case, effectively implemented, suitable organization and management models to prevent the respective legal representatives from carrying out incorrect installation of elevator systems and not carrying out the maintenance services required by the contract.
