Set in Tuscany for a new Rai drama

Thursday 23 May 2024 – 10.45am

A series of mysterious accidents at work and an inspector who investigates tirelessly to clarify the circumstances: it’s the new one TV series in co-production with Rai Fiction which will be filmed in Tuscany next autumn. The set will be the city of Luccaby virtue of an agreement signed by the Lucca municipal administration – with the support of the Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation – and the Anele company.

The screenplay of the fiction is inspired by the novels of Pasquale Sgròwhich feature an inspector struggling with the solution to a series of cases linked to accidents at work.

The literary parts were instead elaborated by Salvatore De Mola (screenwriter of films and fiction such as Commissioner Montalbano, Imma Tataranni, Rex, Makari), Andrea Valagussa (screenwriter of films and TV series including Don Matteo And Police District), Gloria Giorgianni (CEO of Anele), Emanuela Rizzuto (author and story editor) e Paola Randi (Tito and the aliens with Valerio Mastrandreathe Befana comes at night with Monica Bellucci And Alessandro Haber).

The series will unfold over six episodes, and the first inspections to identify and select the locations have already taken place. They will be necessary for filming extras which will be chosen among the citizens. A few weeks after the end of filming the film with Dustin Hoffman and Helen Hunt, a new set therefore arrives in Lucca, which will play itself in a fiction as has not happened for thirty years. It was in fact the 90s of the last century when they were protagonists in the shadow of the tree-lined circle Edwige Fenech And Ray Lovelock in Private crimes and Eros Pagni neither The Mastiff.
