Brain Drain?” – Fare Latina event at the Stoà

Tomorrow, Friday 24 May at 5.30 pm, at the Stoà events center in via Cesare Battisti in Latina, the event “Youth and politics: Brain Drain?” will be held, organized by Fare Latina and its department dedicated to young people. The meeting, strongly desired by the entire movement, aims to involve the new generations and their ideas.

“For the political movement, it is of fundamental importance to create an active discussion on multiple issues – declare Alice Rocco, provincial representative of Fare Latina Giovani, and Ludovica Bertassello, representative of Borgo Podgora. – We invite all the provincial youth with the aim of reconstituting active participation in politics, putting the opinions and proposals of the boys and girls of the province of Latina at the center, in order to open a constant dialogue that can satisfy the different needs that young people, today, demand”.

Fare Latina wants to make young people protagonists, centralizing a mass of young people who, regardless of party, school and trade union affiliation, can interact synergistically and make the territory within their reach in all aspects of daily life. Led by Councilor Annalisa Muzio, the young people of the movement want to create unity and strength among their peers, who are increasingly moving away from politics.

“This event – declares Alice Rocco – was created to create a moment of active meeting and discussion between us kids. We must be united for our city, because we young people are not only the future, but also the present. We must cultivate now and build our city together, to reap the fruits tomorrow. This can only be done if all of us are cohesive, to pursue a single objective: our city and our province!”

Ludovica Bertassello adds: “The idea of creating a youth mass ready to respond to the needs of the area is the central point of our event. Through constant participation we can manage to realize and materialize our proposals to enhance our province. It would be a great mistake to think that politics does not concern us; in reality we kids should be the promoters of requests and solutions, with the common aim of bringing Latina to reach its maximum splendor”.

The invitation is open to all young people in the province, as Fare Latina strongly believes in the idea of building moments of discussion that can be a driving force for discussing all those problems which then must be transferred to the administration on the needs of the whole city . Only through dialogue can we try to find common solutions, involving others and restoring the desire to be interested in politics even in the younger generations.
