AGI – 5 Nobel Prize winners, 22 ministers and over 80 speakers from the academic world, 40 economists, 40 international speakers and over 60 managers and entrepreneurs. Over four days, over 330 events will enliven the 19th edition of the Trento Economics Festival under the title “Quo Vadis? The dilemmas of our time” in the formula which sees for the third consecutive year the Gruppo 24 ore together with Trentino Marketing in the role of organizers on behalf of the Autonomous Province of Trento and with the contribution of the municipality of Trento and the University of Trento. Among the guests are the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni who on May 24th will talk with the Skytg24 and Radio24 journalist, Maria Latella in the panel “I, Giorgia and the dilemmas of Europe”, a little later on the same day, the secretary of the Democratic Party will be the protagonist, Elly Schlein who with Ferruccio De Bortoli will discuss the topic “My answers to the dilemmas of our time”.

In addition to ministers such as Matteo Salvini, Giancarlo Giorgetti, Raffaele Fitto, Adolfo Urso, Marina Elvira Calderone, Daniela Santanchè, Gennaro Sangiuliano, Giuseppe Valditara, Matteo Piantedosi, Nello Musumeci, Annamaria Bernini, Eugenia Roccella, Carlo Nordio, Andrea Abodi, Francesco Lollobrigida, Paolo Zangrillo, Maria Elisabetta Casellati, Paolo Schillaci, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, in these days in the various locations of the city used for the debates will also take turns the European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Paolo Gentiloni, the undersecretary with responsibility for Publishing Barachini, the economist Romano Prodi, Marta Cartabia, Giulio Tremonti, Marta Dassù, the President of the CEI Matteo Zuppi, the president emeritus of the Constitutional Court Giovanni Maria Flick, the president of Consob Paolo Savona, the confederal secretaries Landini (CGIL) – Bombardieri (UIL) – Sbarra (CISL), the president of the Abi Antonio Patuelli and many others. Five Nobel Prize winners are also expected: Edmund Phelps, James Heckman, Muhammad Yunus, Tawakkol Karman and Michael Spence.


Two weeks before the European elections, the Union and its challenges will be at the center of attention of the festival and the subject of many debates, but there will be no shortage of focuses dedicated to artificial intelligence and its developments and for this reason the presence of Father is expected Benanti, who chairs the AI ​​commission for Information, but also Marco Bentivogli with a past in the union and today in Base Italia, who will address the issue of work in the face of technological progress. There will be space to reflect on disabilities, the energy and digital transition, sustainable transport, the influencer economy, but also the great conflicts of our time and the race for the White House. Over 300 events, therefore, which for four days will see Trento come alive with reflections, but also with outdoor moments (weather permitting) dedicated to children, exhibitions, events outside the festival for an edition that promises to be richer in Always. A widespread festival which will feature various locations within the town and which will be connected, this year for the first time, with a special train departing from Piazza Dante.
