Reggio, the next activities of the Calabria-Spain Association

On Thursday 23rd, Friday 24th and Saturday 25th May 2024, a series of initiatives promoted by the Calabria-Spain Association under the patronage of the Spanish Authorities in Italy and the most important bodies of the City of Reggio Calabria.

Thursday at 11 am the inauguration of the Mexican Pictorial exhibition will take place in the “Boccioni” Hall of Palazzo Alvaro; the following day in the morning the SSML “Don Domenico Calarco” will host the writer Alberto Cascón Martìn for the presentation of the book “Los Quevienen” published by the YalodijoCasimiroParker publishing house in Madrid.

The Friday 24 in the afternoon the Spanish delegation, together with the pro-Spanish association, will be guests of the Mayor of Reggio Calabria for a reception which will end with a concert in the City Council Hall performed by the students of the “F.Cilea” Conservatory.

The Saturday 25, in the presence of the major city authorities, in the Chandelier Hall of Palazzo San Giorgio, the presentation of the book by the writer Alberto Cascón Martìn “Los Que Comen” published by the YalodijoCasimiroParker publishing house, and already presented at the Feria de los libros in Madrid, will take place , Buen Retiro Park.

The range of events, organized by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Reggio Calabria in partnership with the Calabria-Spain Association, aims to celebrate and consolidate the ancient and solid bond between two Latin and Mediterranean countries that boast a similar history.
